Progression (or digression depending on your thoughts) of "The Birkie Beard."

For The 2009 American Birkebeiner I decided to let my beard go for a little over two months because I thought it would keep me warm during the race, and it did....I believe the beard will be standard protocol at the start of every year as long as I enter the race. Anyways, now that the race is over it is time to move on from the bearded state..This is hard because it is nice to see that I can still grow hair, just not on top of my head!!! Well hope you enjoy the pics you are about to view, a slow progression from a fuzzy beast to the now trimmed "handlebars." We will see how long the March Mustache will last, one family member at the household (not giving any names and they are not a four legged animal) has a strong dislike for this last stage of the facial hair movement!!
Cheers..

Thanks C-bass for the Teal colored Oakley Frogskins...Fully Bearded Me..

A short stint with the goatie.....

And this, the finished product, for March Mustache Month!! A tribute to the days when the mustache was the "thing" to have!! Goes well with the Budweiser hat..

A full Birkie update is soon to come!!
