Door Project 1

This past weekend we started our first "real project" on the house. We had ordered new front and back doors that Molly and I then did the finish work on...they turned out great, in our eyes...The thing was the weather has been to cold to put them in so they sat in our living room for some time; which was a big deal because our house is a little under 900 square feet, so having huge doors take up half of the living room is only cool for so long!!! Finally the weather hit the 70s this weekend so Paul (a friend/contractor) and I took the time to finally get them in....The doors are Alder and the trim is Cedar...Soon we will be putting Cedar trim on the whole exterior with galvanized-corrugated steel...Hoping it will have a good industrial/rustic look!! Cheers..Out with the old, in with the new!!
