I love this time of year. The long warm days are starting to cool down, fall colors are coming out, the mountain biking is great, and last but not least it is fall hop harvest time! Deschutes Brewery here in Bend brews my favorite beer of all time. It is called Hop Trip and is a really hoppy beer that they start brewing immediately after they go and harvest the hops outside of Salem, OR. They make multiple road trips over there to get these hops and then they drive right back and start brewing. Check out the road trip video on www.deschutesbrewery.com. Once the beer is done it is super fresh and goes down oh so easy!! Did I say I love this beer!
Another great thing about Hop Trip is that my friend ,Adam, is the one that designed the label for this beer and for all the Bond Series Beers...I think that is really cool! Check his stuff out at www.stickfort.com. He has some amazing art!!! For a few of you lucky family/friends I will be sending some out as soon as the bottles are in the store.
