Newest Addition to The Family

No No, we did not get another dog...yet! And no we are not having a baby, I don't think at least, someday down the road here we will...Sorry to get you excited Muppet(mom Nelson) and Mary(mom Roskam)...but the addition is just another bike!!! It is a Surly Karate Monkey. I love this thing and have had a blast the last 2 weeks on it. The low down on the bike:

1. 29er for those of you who are not aware of the KM's wheel size. Run as a 1x9.
2. Skid Mark Brown frame color(great imagination with the name of color)
3. Salsa/Surly Hub and wheels
4. Salsa Rasta colored skewers
5. Salsa Gold colored liplock
6. Salsa ProMoto Carbon Riser Bar-weighing in at a mere 166 grams
7. Fizik Retro Leather Saddle with Cow Fur underlining(Red Angus with some white)
9. Truvativ Team Stylo Limited Edition Gold crankset
10. Paul Motolite V-brakes and Love lever 2.5 Brakelever
11. Chris King Brown/Green colored headset-smooth as butter
12. One nice "Mustard Plug" sticker on the frame. Not sure who or what this is but I am going to leave it.

*I like to call it "Hometown" because of the Minnesota connection with Salsa and Surly companies being based out of Minneapolis/St. Paul.
