White Stuff is Flying

This past weekend the snow starting flying and left the mountains looking beautiful from town. The snow around here usually does not start until late October but it has started early this year. The next couple of days calls for snow as low as 4000', which should help fill in the Cascades even more. The one picture is of Mt. Bachelor from last weekend and the other two are from a co-worker of mine, Cheryl. They were hiking up near Broken Top over the weekend when the snow left a trace..Broken Top has all kinds of cool lines to ski once it gets filled in. Molly and I have picked up our Nordic passes for Bachelor and the skins are to hit the backcountry....I am super excited for this winter too because a buddy of mine just got a sweet mountain sled with a custom ski and snowboard rack...Can't wait to farm a little pow with the Tele/AT gear and hit the corduroy on the Nordic skis!!!! Cheers..
