Pic is off of www.mtbachelor.com."The Cone" is looking good. This is one of the guys from Rage Films that was out hiking "The Cone" this week. "The Cone" is a great little glade off of the parking lot at Mt. Bachelor, since I do not buy a pass because Bachelor is way overpriced this is where I ski 95% of the time. The skinning takes about 20 minutes and you can get some good turns in with fun tree skiing at the bottom. We have been getting consistent snow and as you can see from the pic it looks pretty sweet. I have not been up there yet this year but am hoping for low moisture snow tonight and then I will head up tomorrow morning and maybe Monday morning too! Bachy is up to almost 38" for the season already! Good sign for the season to come...This is such a great time of year because the single-track is in great shape for mountain biking, the roads are dry for road riding, and there is snow at the mountain!! This is one VERY positive aspect of the Bend area...Cheers!
