We are back!

After 10 Days back in MN, we are back home now in Bend. I have all kinds of ideas on what I would like to write about at this moment but lack the pictures to successfully make a worth while blog..so I will wait until more pics show up on my Dell before I write about our new house and the great time we had back in Minnie with family and friends...oh, how we miss you!!

So instead I will write about the great weekend Molly and I have had since we are back in OR. This is the weather pattern we like to see in the winter here in Central Oregon. The temps are in the single digits and the moisture keeps coming off the Pacific! Oh how I love the mountains in winter. This beautiful weather pattern has opened up many of the Nordic trails up around 5000-6000 ft and has also made "The Cone" nice and fluffy with knee deep low moisture snow!! We have got a few long runs in too, as I am trying to squeeze in as much cardiovascular training as possible each day to get ready for "The Birkie" in February...We have also been moving into the house, which is a little like moving into a 40 foot sailboat because it is only 800 some square feet. We have had much fun learning the art of giving many things away, supreme organization, and ultimately putting ourselves to the testament of living small! At least we now know we can someday live in a sailboat if we ever go that route????? Cheers and I promise I will have pics of the trip home and our new house soon!!! Oh and another great thing from this weekend, on our way to Nordic Skiing Sunday we saw a herd of Elk right outside of town that was chased down from the mountains because of the storm..they were beautiful and were about 50 of them!! To bad I did not have the camera to get a pic!
