Berserk

Some years ago I went to one of my first Banff Film Festival Shows in Duluth, MN and I saw this video I will never forget. I believe it was called 'Berserk in Antarctica" by Jarle Andhoy. The video to this day was very vivid, ultimately a true adventure, and hilarious! Well, a few weeks ago when my brother and his wife were out in Bend we were having a few beers and talking and somehow this film came up...Little did I know that the one guy (David Mercy) who was with on the adventure wrote a book about the whole thing. Ryan and Sherie had the book and sent it too me to read...It was a great read and brought back the memory of the film I saw some years ago that so sparked my interest....Anyways the book is a great read! As I did a little more research on Jarle (the crazy-ass Norwegian) who dreamed up this trip and what he is up to, I found out that David Mercy and Jarle have been on a sailing expedition on Berserk II. It is a much larger boat and they are sailing around the world...Jarle is truly a motivation and I would love to meet him for his "living in today" attitude in all aspects of his life!
