The start of our country road hike out in the High Desert east of Bend.
Every once and awhile Molly and I will take the dogs East of town out to the desert...It is a peaceful place, very open with lots of sagebrush and juniper!! The other day was no exception to the beauty of this region of Central Oregon...Here are a few pics of our windy and cold hike out by Horse Butte....There are hundreds, probably thousands of miles of these dirt roads in Eastern Oregon...It would be fun to drive them all!!!Cheers...
