A True Partner Moves On!!

The desk that Otis, my friend Vinny's son, is sitting on has been with me since the first grade!!! My mom and dad got these for my brother and I when we lived in Eau Claire, WI..It was my first real desk! Little did I know that I would study on it all through high school, a Bachelor in Business and a Bachelor in Nursing!!! After I retired using it my wife Molly used it to finish her Doctorate in Physical Therapy...I do believe this is one of the only things I still own from first grade, besides all the memories built up since then..What a great investment mom and dad!! Now that Molly and I are done studying (for the time being) we have decided to pass this desk along to Otis, who will be in first grade this year.. All we ask of him is to keep it as long as he needs to get through studying and then pass it along for another young student who can use it for their educational pursuit!! Good bye to a companion that has moved all over the country and seen many a long nights studying!! Cheers to education, well built items (like this desk), and individuals adventures in life!!
