Waldo Lake II

Molly and shot down to Waldo Lake this weekend to go biking with a crew of friends from Bend and also ended up riding with two different couples from the San Francisco area.....As always it was beautiful!! Waldo Lake sits on the Western side of the Cascade Mountain Range and is at about 5500 feet...It is 400 some feet deep, has no inlets so there is no plant life, and thus no fish! It is one of the purest lakes in the world.....The color is amazing and the sand beaches are perfect for swimming. Enjoy the pics...

Cheers to good bike rides....The loop is about 23 miles, has a good mix of technical sections ,short climbs, and fun downhills...
