Last night I did my first ever bike race here in Bend, OR and it was a hoot! Webcyclery puts the race on and is part of the Thrilla Cyclocross Series. My main objective was to finish in decent time and not to crash to hard!! The first I obtained, the second goal I failed miserably with a huge crash on the first lap, that taught me to slow down right away. I busted out the ol' Lemond Poprad for this race. There were about 100 racers and it was nice to be racing with folks we have made friends with around town. There is a post race happiness pic and a pic of my leg from the crash, not sure what I hit!!
